The Freelance CFO has been around in various iterations for about 10 years, but Katelyn went all in full time at the beginning of the pandemic in March of 2020 after being let go unexpectedly from her day job. Because she had a solid financial foundation in her business, she was able to survive and thrive. Cliches aside, she wants to change the way the workforce is treated, and in order to do that, she needed to create her own workforce. If you're still working a corporate job and it's benefiting you, great. If you decide to job hop or leave corporate altogether, remember that it's a transactional relationship – don't feel guilty for your coworkers or your boss. When it's time to go, it's okay to let go.
